Scottsboro, then Jackson County High School, fielded its first football team in 1913. From records that are available for that first team, the Wildcats finished the year with a record of 0-2-1. The Wildcats played Bridgeport three times during the season, losing one and tying one with the outcome of the third game unavailable. The 1913 schedule also listed a game with a team from Huntsville and the outcome is not available.
